Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: April 23, 2026

Company: Rooter Express

Service Area: Anderson, SC and the surrounding Upstate region

Governing Law: State of South Carolina

1. Professional Estimates & Scope of Work

Rooter Express provides comprehensive residential and commercial septic solutions.

  • Preliminary Estimates: All pricing provided via phone, email, or https://rooterexpsc.com/ is a non-binding estimate based on typical regional conditions.
  • On-Site Verification: Final pricing is subject to a physical inspection. Because septic systems are subsurface, unforeseen factors (such as excessive depth, unmarked lids, or structural damage discovered upon uncovering the tank) may result in adjusted fees.
  • Workmanship Guarantee: We stand behind every job with a workmanship guarantee. This covers the quality of our labor and installation; however, it does not cover system failures caused by improper homeowner usage (e.g., flushing prohibited items) or pre-existing drain field saturation.

2. SMS & Mobile Messaging Consent

By contacting us at (770) 778-8350, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages for:

  • Appointment Coordination: Confirmation of service, technician ETAs, and scheduling reminders.
  • Emergency Dispatch: Real-time updates for urgent septic backups or surfacing issues.
  • Service Quality: Follow-up satisfaction checks and maintenance reminders for future pumping.
  • Opt-Out: Reply STOP to cancel. Standard message and data rates apply.

3. Licensing, Insurance & Professional Standards

Rooter Express is a family-owned business. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured in the State of South Carolina. All cleaning, pumping, and installation services are performed in accordance with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) standards and local Anderson County regulations.

4. Punctuality & Environmental Delays

While we prioritize prompt service and offer 24/7 emergency availability, Rooter Express is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Heavy rain or saturated ground conditions that make pumping or excavation unsafe for your property.
  • Difficulty accessing the tank due to unmarked lids or landscape obstructions.
  • Regional traffic across the Upstate SC corridor.

5. Advice & Information Disclaimer

Guidance provided on our website regarding pumping intervals (3–5 years) and drain field remediation is for educational purposes. It is not a substitute for a professional on-site evaluation. Rooter Express is not liable for DIY septic repairs attempted by the client based on digital content.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by South Carolina law, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service. We are not responsible for environmental contamination or property damage resulting from a failed septic system prior to our arrival.
